Buy a stock RZR S. It comes with paint, long travel, 63 mph top speed, and more hp stock than 90% of the modded Rhinos out there. And most importantly...it comes with a warranty! Your boy RG drives one for fun!

Re: Looking to buy a BAD ASS Rhino

got this looking for 11k and a nice 450 bike or 14k cash, spent over 31k building it, has the best of everything!.

2007 Yamaha Rhino 686 Fully customized, Industry sponsored car. 2200 miles, motor rebuilt at 1400 miles so only 800 miles on fresh new Pro shop 686 build.

    MOTOR:
10:1 comp 686 motor built by The Pro Shop. 40HP. super reliable engine built for the dunes. not a race motor. this motor has the perfect balance of more power but still is super reliable and runs on 91 pump gas. John from the Pro Shop knows his stuff and will continue to work with whoever the new owner is. So you dont need to worry about it blowing up and the builder telling you to take a hike. This is among the strongest dune motors around, the pro shops personal car has over 4000 miles on the same build except theirs is a little more built so this should last even longer. I know many people are scared of built motors but this one is stronger than a stock rhino motor 100%.
    CP piston and rings
    port and polish/ head work
    Ron woods Exhaust
K&N billet intake adapter and filter
    Dynatek cdi
UTV crap clutch sheave and 12 gram weights, Clutch is setup perfect for this motor.
top speed of around 65-68mph on flat, 30+ MPH up olds hill in glamis

    SUSPENSION:
XMF +6 Long Travel with adjustable Walker Evans Racing Shocks
BYC motor-sports gusset plates front and rear, rear has diff support bracket.
sommors bros. axles in front and the new XMF tapered race axles in back

    TIRES/WHEELS:
25x12 Bighorns on ITP T7 series real beadlocks. black w chrome ring
25x12 Scat track 7 paddles and smoothies on ITP wheels. super light combo for the sand.
    stock tires and wheels

    FABRICATION:
XMF 4 seat cage w weld in window bungs
XMF custom aluminum and auto glass windshield
    XMF cooler rack
XMF front and rear bumpers, side steps
    XMF custom spare tire rack
    XMF aluminum roof and doors

    INTERIOR:
BS Sand Alligator seats with peanut butter trim
    Crow 3" 4 point harnesses
    sdr seat lowering bases
    Water Temp gauge
XMF billet alloy rear view mirror
Axia alloys billet alloy Ipod nano mount
    billet cup holders
    J strong lockable center console
Sony Xplode head unit/ cd player w IPOD hookup
2 6" speakers for the stereo mounted under the dash in a oem box from yamaha
PU products bed cooler rack, gas can rack and large gear bag rack. it is setup to carry lots of gear or switch back to a 4 seater.

    EXTERIOR:
Paint: Custom emerald green and ice colored tribal pattern by Trinity Custom Graphics in Phoenix
i also have the the camo plastics if you dont like the custom paint, they can be painted black or left camo.
custom smooth metal tailgate painted to match
all logos are stickers and can easily be removed
2, 5" KC hid's 3000k color (yellow to cut down the dust)
Burke moto pros stock HID insert bulbs

Because I am sorta in the industry due to my UTV mayhem dvds this car has been meticulously maintained. The oil was changed and the filter was cleaned after EVERY ride or glamis trip, NO EXCEPTIONS! It also would go into the pro shop about every 2-3 trips for a full go over including checking the valves, diff fluid, axle seals etc. Like I said I dont think there is a rhino that was better maintained that this one. Just had the clutching redone too so its all brand new stuff. This rhino is the best of both worlds. Looks great and can seat 4 so you can bring the family, but it also usually spanks most UTV's you line up against. you can race rzr's all day and not get smoked. It has just enough power to make it a blast to drive but I needed it to be reliable as well and it is exactly that. top speed of 65mph, I was getting 31-36mph at the top of olds hill, while most rhinos struggle to make it up at all.

This rhino cost me 31k to build. i know the market is weak so im listing it at $14,000 OBO. this rhino has almost everything you could want or need. A real head turner.
I also will consider a 05 or newer honda or yamaha 450R or X in a partial trade for this car.
    11k and a 450 bike.

fly, my humble opinion dont mean squat in the utv world but how about one of those r1 rhinos? But I have heard a LOT about the RZR, and rg does happen to have one so it cant be all bad.

MCX Turbos Has a 2009 Turbocharged Arctic Cat Prowler XTZ for sale for $14,500. Still has the OEM MSO, so it would be a first title. That's a pretty good price for a machine that retails for $14500 plus the turbo setup.
Even better, get a Dragonfire Racing Nessy with the Teryx 840 for $29,500. Pretty close to being the same machine that won the Baja 1000 UTV class this year. And that price includes some race support from DFR I believe.
