Re: Shortcourse racing in Mid-West
This should be an even better race than last year. Dave says there are 15-18 super buggies coming, along with some 1600's and trucks. Contact him if you have any questions, at $55 a day (pro classes) this is dirt cheap wheel to wheel racing!

I am in Mid Missouri, and interested in the upcomming Casey IL. race... I have a Class 1 Light Buggy.. Any idea on which MAORA division I could race in? And also, any contact info for the Casey race?

Re: Shortcourse racing in Mid-West
Josh, you can run Class 12 or 16. Class 12 is open, to wood buggies and older race cars and is designed for newcomers to get track time. Class 16 is the same as the TORC or LOORS 1600 Buggy or Limited Buggy (1-2-1600). We have had several TORC Light buggies race in Class 16 with some success. The Casey race is the closest to you and has a track that will prepare you for up North (TORC) in that it is fast and wide just not as long .75 mile.

Re: Shortcourse racing in Mid-West
Everyone who can should come out to the Marengo race July 14-15. Three rounds of shortcourse on an excellent track on Saturday and an enduro Sunday for the coveted King's Cup.
