    **ROSS RACING LDC race report**

First off Congratulations to Kory and Letner Racing on a great weekend and keeping it together at the end. Also Dan Mcmillin on a great finish his first time out.

Prerun laps Friday went perfect; car was running great and flying over the holes. Racing at 110% would not win this race and the prerun laps proved that this was going to be a battle of attrition. Luckily our Racer Class 1 with Fox Shox eats 3ft curbs and holes for lunch!!

We went in to Saturday Confident and with a game plan, Get in front and stay there. Off the start the Danzio power kicked in and we pulled away from Theriot and quickly caught Parkhouse by mile 3. The track had gotten about 10 times rougher overnight and was absolutely brutal which played into our favor. Coming into the infield we caught Wilson and made a great pass thru the dust…we were in the lead. Lap 3 and we heard over the radio that we were 3rd on time and down by 1 min to Harley and Josh so we decided step it up a little. Kablewy!! The front right wheel exploded and took the brake line with it. Our day was done. We limped her into the hot pits and realized that the caliper was still there and we only lost the hard line. Vice grips, some zip ties a new tire and 6 min later we were on our way. We quickly picked off the field 1 by 1 and finished the day 4th.

A good driver and racer knows his limits and analyzes the course and situation and adjusts as needed. Besides, this is OFF ROAD racing we race in some of the roughest deserts in the world and knew to finish first we must first finish.

Sunday’s race comes around and we get right after it!! passing Wilson right away and working our way towards Kory. Mile marker 2 martin/bean COPS car is pulled off and we were running 2nd. We immediately set a quick pace that would make up time on Kory and go for the win. The Fox Shox were eating these VW sized holes alive. By lap 3 we get word on the radio that Josh is doing Mach 5 and catching us quick. We let him pass as the last thing we want to do is tangle with him cause he didn’t finish day 1 and could not go for the overall. Halfway thru that lap Josh pulls over and we are back up front. Lap 5,6,7,and 8 come quick and we finish 1st for the day and are now waiting to see when Kory is going to come in the infield.

In the end he got us by 1 min or so and we took 2nd for the weekend. Overall it was a great weekend and the car looked great, no damage and could have gone another 8 laps.

Stay tuned as we have all of Saturdays race footage shot in HD from our Helo mixed with in car cams coming soon!! We are definitely hungry for more and will be back in March for San Felipe!!

We would first like to thank all our family and friends for there support and cheers all weekend. Paul at Racer Services and his whole team for there support. But most of all our sponsors that gave us the tools needed to get the job done! Dale Dondel at RACER ENGINEERING for building us the best class 1 available today, Todd and his FOX SHOX which took a beating and asked for more, BFG tires for hooking up all weekend and getting us to the hot pits even with no wheel!! Chris and Josh at DANZIO giving us the horsepower needed to stay up front.
Score Terribles Cup 2007 Class 1 Champions!!!
2008 BITD fabtech 400 Sportsman Overall/ 6th overall on corrected time all day!!
