BANG!! BANG!!
howe performance power steering pump
Is the howe pump Part number tc210 i think off the top of my head just a GM type 2 pump?
I am trying to figure out brackets for my 4.3L v6. I typed 210 into summit and it comes up as a gm type 2.

Call Jeff at howe he will tell you all you need, I think he gets about 70.00 for a T pump mounting bracket, they come from sweet.
If you think can or can't,your right!!!!

Re: howe performance power steering pump
It sure does look like a similar bolt pattern to the GM Type II but as mentioned, you may want to doublecheck with Jeff before you go buying brackets. I ran into a similar situation with my 5.3l that may give you some more info... or at least a cross-reference. There was no bracket for the 5.3l so I ended up swapping out the bracketry from a 2003 (?) Chevy SSR. The TC210 pump bolted right up, same bolt pattern.

Re: howe performance power steering pump
Like others have already mentioned, make sure the price you are paying for a "Howe" pump is justified. Some Howe pumps are simply Sweet MFG pumps that get a paint job and a Howe box (possibly a sticker too). I see no reason to pay an inflated price for a re-badged product when the original is available for considerably less. Please note that I said some pumps and not ALL Howe pumps are re-badged.

Jeff
You don't know what your talking about.Yes we buy our t/c pump's from Sweet mfg so both of us can get a better price from Delphi. We then mill out the return side of the pump housing to get the fluid back into the pump. The hole size is about the size of your little finger, we make it the size of your thumb. Then set the pressure to 1450psi from 1200psi,and set the flow from 2 gpm at an idle to 3.5 gpm.
A stock car run's lower flow than a offroad car,so a stock pump will not work with our rack's.Please know what your talking about before you throw any company under the bus.
Thank's
Jeff Howe
