2009 baja 2009 video nbc
Saw the video and wondered why it was all about trophy trucks motorcycles (honda and kawasaki). Wish it could had more about all classes as that's where the real story is. Too bad it's all a money thing. Maybe the story should be about the guys who spend their last dollar just to be there and compete. Definately easier to relate to. Just a thought. But at the same time, i am glad there's a major broadcasting company there to share what happened to the rest of the world (nbc).

Re: 2009 baja 2009 video nbc
You're right; there are lots of good stories and some of the best come from the smaller teams. You're also right about the money; if you're buying commercials your equipment is going to be featured. It's no different than it's ever been. Compared to NFL, NBL, NBA and PGA, off-road racing is a very tiny market. If only more people would tune into the NBC show.

Let's face it, any coverage is good coverage
even if it is the BIG teams!
I couldn't help but notice that those Class 1 cars are sportin 800+ HP and weighing in at 6000lb's (per NBC coverage) but like I said, any coverage is good
