chain size
ok, so i have a question about the chain size. (2003 yz250f) The stock chain size for me bike is 520 with 112 links with a 48t rear sproket.
Im getting a new chain. but i am running a 49t rear now so should i still get the stock size 112? or should i get a 113?
it might seem stupid but i have no where else to ask

How much adjustment do you have with the rear axle blocks? You should be fine going up one tooth with the stock chain length but that will tell you for sure. If anything you can buy a full length 120 link chain and cut it down yourself once you fit it. Very easy to do.

Re: chain size
Buy a 116 or 120 and get the chain breaker! that way you can get it right, remember most chains will stretch at some point.

Peezy, take him up on the offer (HELP!) If you want to bring your new chain and bike to Encinitas I could do it also. El Cajon is a little closer too.
