PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY OPENS 15TH SEASON FEBRUARY 13TH & 14TH WITH PASSORS STADIUM OFF-ROAD SERIES!

(FEBRUARY 7, 2010, PERRIS, CA) Perris Auto Speedway will open its 15th season on Saturday and Sunday February 13th and 14th with rounds #1 & #2 of the 2010 PASSORS Stadium Off Road Racing Series. Heat races will begin at 3:00 PM on Saturday with the first main event slated for 5:30. On Sunday, the first heat will get the green flag at 11:00 AM with the first main event at 1:30. In addition, there will be a practice session on Friday beginning at 6:30 PM.

Divisions slated to compete at the opening rounds are Stadium Pro Lite Trucks, Stadium Unlimited Buggies, Stadium Limited Buggies, Junior 1 Stock Stadium Carts, Junior 1 Stadium Karts, Junior 2 Stadium Karts, Modified 250 Stadium Karts, Modified 450 Stadium Karts, Stadium Unlimited Pro UTV, Stadium Limited UTV, Stadium Pro Quad, Stadium Amateur Quad and Stadium Junior Quad Divisions.

Each day will carry a full, separate, $14,000.00 purse.

This will be the The PAS’ most ambitious effort into the Off Road racing world and longtime promoter Don Kazarian is dedicated to making it work. “We are expecting 85-100 entries for the openers,” Kazarian said. “Hopefully we will get even more. We have planned the series carefully with the hopes of making it a great series for the competitors and the fans. We planned the schedule so it does not interfere with other series and that should be a benefit to everyone. It will be eight rounds with the last one slated for September 25th.”

Fans will be pleased to know that every ticket comes with a pit pass so they can get an up close look at the racing machines and personally meet all of their favorite drivers and riders.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego.
