    need some metal

    where do i find this type of tubing? if it's even called that? is it a machined piece? roughly 1.5 od, but real thick walls...i.d. is maybe 5/8? i dunno the #'s off the top of my head, but i found a pic similar to what i need...lower right hand corner...chromo or steel...

    If you cant find or order it at your local metal supply, you could try Jack at H&M engineering and ask him where he gets his heavy walled tubing that he uses to make bungs for his heims... 714-979-6631 http://hm-engineering.com

    at a local metal supply. We call it bushing stock. Do you guys call it the same thing?

    Thanks I knew there was another name for it. I think the local metal supply has just gotten use to calling it "bushing stock" and it is easier to just call it what they do to get the correct stuff.

    On the subject of tubing, anyone know where I can get a 2'-3' piece of 2.25od .120 wall? I need to make some long bump cans to go through the frame in the rear of our Toyota in the next couple of weeks...Thx, Curt
