    Re: rough ride

sounds like you just answered your own question to me. you might need to shorten the bumpstops up a bit or move the mounts if they arent in the right place or maybe put bigger coils in it to get it up a bit more. and what kinda shocks are you running?

    Re: rough ride

its got 12" swayaways on the front. the springs are 300 and 350. its got a 2.3L in it is its pretty lite in the front. i think the springs are wrong. i drained the bumpstops so they are not hitting all the time. and it was still rough. any coments

i think its too soft and bottoming out

some buggies run those rates and there a lot lighter than a ranger in front.

    Re: rough ride

Rangers usally take a 350/450 but since you say the front is lite try 350/400. If you have room i would move the bumps out to the beams, you will have to run less nitrogen because there will be less leverage.

How much pre-load do you have in the shock?

If it takes more then 3" of pre-load to get ride hieght then your springs are to definitly to lite.

Also if it has more than 3" preload you might be getting coil bind.
