I myself or Pat D did not get involved with this especially with it being two Nevada racers. But I did ask PAB what happened on this while standing at the dyke jump Sunday morning and he said that Rob used his in car camera footage and showed what happened and was cleared through BLM.

Why does he have to post it up? This isn't up to us. If Rob mac cleared this with the SNORE officials and BLM, then its case closed. A statement will be coming from a SNORE official shortly to clear the air and shut this down before the peanut gallery runs with this and blows it WAYYYY out of proportion.

It was out there along the fence line that was a no passing zone. Rob came in
hot on Day Gang’s tail into the no passing zone. Rob hit Day hard enough to send
her out of shape and then made a pass in the weeds. This was witnessed by 2 BLM
officials, 1 SNORE course worker and myself. The reason why this area is a no
passing zone was because in the past race there the racers burned in a new line
and SNORE had to pay to "re-plant" the area at something like a $20K expense.
This is what SNORE guy there told me. He was super pissed because he said Rob
does this kinda stuff all the time and this time it was in front of the head BLM
guy in charge.

BLM guy was pissed and wanted Rob DQ'd and called it in on his cell to Don Wall
and on the radio.

The other racers who would've benefited from this knew but said nothing since
they did it too. Top 5 guys all made passes in the no passing zone.

All of this about the area was clearly relayed at the drivers meeting, you pass
there you are DQ'd.
