OHHH... Anybody have a hookup on Aluminum???? I need material for skid, roof, firewall, and I guess the front where you feet are (kick panel?). I think my pricing from IMS is ok, but really not totally sure if I'm gettin hosed or not. Could really use a few hookups at this point in the build. Dang dr bills are putting a dent in my fab budget.

Ya, the plan all along was to build, learn, buy the best parts and then build a new chassis when the time came. It just came a heck of a lot sooner than planned. New car is full fiberglass panels from Kar Tek, so it can be fully stripped, checked, prepped, and raced again!
Thanks Ben, it won't be soon, I've got another 6-10 months of recovery time, but come January of 2011 it's ON!
The hardest part will be looking at a fully prepped race car sitting in the garage for all those months!
I sure was optimistic! I'm still optimistic and believe we will do a race or two this year. Car is getting close to being done.... kinda. Health wise, I did my first lap on Friday in one of our prerunners. Of course, nowhere near race speed, but the back felt good!!!
Stopped by the shop to check seat mounting location; I'm fired up to finish this thing!
