**Winner Winner Chicken Dinner** DanZio BAP report

Once again SNORE rocks!!!! What an awesome event!!! My hats off to SNORE and their staff for making th Battle at Primm so much fun!!!

Well what can I say...we had an absolutly killer weekend!!! SNORE once again brought out qualifying and some bigger hitters are starting to show up!!! We drew the first position for qualifying. Being first, I got the freshly greased (watered) track. I had a little difficulty in the infield as it was really slippery. With the controlled prerun, we also had a little difficulty hitting the braking points which cost a little time. Be that as it may, we still pulled out the stops and unleased the danzio power plant on the track. We pulled out the number one qualifying position with Steven Eugenio about five seconds back and Cameron Steele in a close third.

Race day we were on it!!! Being a controlled prerun, it took us a lap to get it all figured out. On the second lap, we set fast lap for the weekend with a 12:03.297 lap time. Hitting the Dyke jump at 105 mph was insane!!! We settled into a good fast pace and paid close attention to the splits. Todd Leduc in the G&R truck was holding a good pace behind us so we were making sure not to slack. However, he had some problems and at the end of the first day we had almost a 5 minute lead on Rob Archibald who was second for the day.

Day two we knew what we had to do. Not make any mistakes or break anything. We started off just setting a quick steady pace. The track was pretty chewed up on the second day, so we knew we had to play it smart. Once again on the second lap, we set the fast lap for the day with a 12:45.235. Our team was once again on it with the split times. By the end of the second lap they were reporting about a 1 minute 40 second lead. Since we had about 5 minutes from the first day, we knew we could back it way down and still take the victory.

So instead of getting crazy and risk a flat or breaking the car, we slowed her up and to ensure a good finish and the overall win. We made sure to brake early and be carefull exiting the corners as there were massive acceleration bumps which are very hard on the drive train. We also starting to catch some of the class 10 cars, and decided to just be very patient instead of risking passing them in the dust and making a mistake. That being said, TJ put 13 seconds on us for the win on Sunday's race.

However, being the screw ball that I am, I achieved my 2 personal goal for the day. The first one was the overall win which we achieved by about 9 minutes over Terry Housholder and team; and the second being the top speed down pit row. 122 mph was reporrted the first day and I wanted 125... Day two, I entered the corner at the top of the pits faster and was able to achieve the 125 mph goal!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! It was SWEET!!!!!!

I can't thank my team and sponsors enough!!!! Without them, there is no way that we would could have done this!!! My crew did an awesome job and worked their butts off to prep the car for both days!!!! I want to thank DanZio, Desert Assassins, Yokohoma, Fox Shox, Wright Gear box, Racer Engineering, Wuerth Motorsports, Ringers gloves, Intrepid Cycles, and Dailey engineering for all their help and support!!!

All I can say, Josh and team, is that your buggy is dialed-in, and so is your driving! Nice work! The sound of your wound-up motor is my new all-time favorite song! Thanks for the show!
