Hello my name is Mitch Edgmon, im 20 years old and reside in Imperial, CA. I basically live in the center between the superstition/ plaster city desert area, and glamis , and ocotillo wells. I got into desert racing by my dad he built his own class 8 truck and raced out locally in plaster city in the late 90's and early 2000's. Its just natural to be involved in off-road racing ive raced bmx,motorcycles,oddyseys,mini dwarfs,pure stocks,and pro stock cars. Been in every type of vehicle in the desert prerunner, sandcar,racetruck,racecar, and so forth many friends and family race and always involved helping out if im not racing. We just recently put our class 8 truck back together and have tested twice and I plan on racing the MDR King of the Desert April 24th. Im always out in the desert, there has never been a New Years I can remember where im not out there. Ive been on race-dezert all the time just never had an account until now haha. Some vehicles my family has is a funco five seater,yamaha rhino, motorcycles, quads, the class 8 truck, and my prostock. Future plans are to race locally in MDR and Drive for now and hopefully go on from there!! Would like to get the sponsorship to race the bigger series and even shortcourse, from my stockcar and desert background the perfect mix would be shortcourse off road! The first shortcourse race i attended to spectate was Glen Helen a SODA series race in 1997 i was seven years old and loved every minute of it. Jimmie Johnson dominated the Pro 2s and Pro 4s in a Pro 2. Since then I cant get enough of off-road racing.
