Hello, my name is Terry Silbaugh
I started racing dirt ovals in 1954 in Gardena, Ca and have run jalopys, midgets, sprints then moved to Oregon in 63 where I ran hardtops in Lebanon and Cottage Grove, SCCA and after moving to Bend in 1981 I got introduced to desert racing as a medic with the Sheriff's Search & Rescue. I bought a 2 seat sportsman buggy in 88 and a safari class Jeep Comanchee in 1990. After the October 90 race the former promoter retired and a friend and I started CODRA. We promoted three races a year in Millican Valley and in October 1995 decided to retire as BLM was getting difficult to work with.
I retired from the sheriff's department in Sept 1997 and my wife of 54 years, Ginny, and I enjoy travelling the deserts of the SW and are frequent visitors to the Parker 425.
Best wishes to the 'New CODRA' gang and I will be spectating in Paisley.
