    First PC race of 2010

The action last Sunday was some of the best racing I seen for a long time. The ultra 4x4 races were exciting, and the last truck race with the 7s and T trucks together was also very exciting. My favorite race was the last class 9 and 11 race. The 9 car would get a big lead, and then do something wrong, get off the track, and the 11 car would pass, and the 9 car would have to catch up. I dont even know who won that race since they both seemed to cross the finish line together. Congrats to all heat winners, and to fellow fernley resident Brad, great racing!!

Re: First PC race of 2010

My truck took a pounding over the smallest jump on the track. It wanted to "endo every lap.
The 3 moto change seemed to have went off without a hitch.
The short track evens up the field and makes for a more technical drive.

I was not impressed with the addition of the tech director.A few too many accusations, implied or otherwise that were not well taken by some of us.Too many rules for too few trucks IMHO.Its a fine line between trying to make the field more even and running people off. There is talk of some guys having to add as much as 300lbs.I think thats a huge mistake for safety reasons and the first time a 50lb or 75lb chunk of weight lands in someones lap or face, its over for all of us.

I am a former short track racer and I am having a hard time adjusting to all the track changesThe new start really sucked.Either of the old start lines were much safer and not such a bottle neck.(opinion only and a bit of whining)
No plans for the desert yet but that may all change.
Sure missed Bruce Field and Randy Avery.Hope its not a sign of change.
