If we do leave them there is it secure or should I be worried?

You finish about 15 miles from were you start. We have a chase truck and trailer go to all pits, then enjoy the night life in Caliente!

Some people left there trucks in Alamo last year, then needed a ride to go get them!!

I think we'll need a ride back to the tow rig in alamo ourselves, maybe we can arrange that on the trip. Or just drive up there.

We also need to figure out fuel on the pre-run, I don't know that we can run clear to caliente on one fill.

We're running a 4400 in the race and using it to pre-run.

You can always fill up at pit two. That is where they are having the lunch break.

Its 97 mile from the start and an additional 111 from there to Caliente. I'm throwing a couple cans in so we can make it.

If you need a ride im sure someone will take you back up.

Re: Silver State 300 Pre Run

Does anyone have a map from last year? This is our first time racing the Silver State 300 so we are trying to figure out our logistics for the pre-run. We have a chase truck, trailer and a motorhome, just not sure how it all works out. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I attached last years map but be warned Casey has said numerous times that this years course will have 100 miles of new terrain.

    Thanks,

i would think the people at the truck stop would watch your truck . they are nice people. getting ride up to the start from the finish might be tough, because everybody heading towards vegas. we have a chase truck .if you want to put some fuel on it , look us us at the start. copper colored 4 seater and white f250 w/ the #5 on it.
