What was the Best tire for the mint 400

what are you talking about deano, the best drive bfg and if the baldwins were not sponsored by general tire they would be using bfg also.. im totally just joshin your taters.

All I know is that Troy from Yokohama spent the entire day mounting mostly General tires, with some BFG's and a few Goodyears............Teams were showing up with mangled tires asking for them to be unmounted and replaced with old spares that were not mounted..........It seemed that a lot of people were going through waaaaay more tires than they expected...........

Kinda funny and sad at the same time that the only tire to offer pit support to any brand regardless of make at the general tire Mint 400 was Yokohama............I know you all saw the big black semi and wondered will they mount my xyz brand tires? the answer is YES! Yokohama has been in the desert a long time and they understand what it means to be a part of the desert familia..........

Think about that the next time your filling out your ballots for best pit support of the year............

General threw some great parties at the Mint. Maybe some pit support will be added in the future............

I'm sorry but the best in Class 6 was on Yokes..............And I'd be willing to bet that a lot of the buggy class winners were also on Yoks..............I'd be willing to bet that Yokohama won more classes at the Mint than any other tire............

BFG's rock but they aren't the end all be all.............Just ask Robby who won the Score Championship on Toyo's.............

Personally I love my Yoks on my truck and on my Buggy!

Didn't see them changing tires. Only saw lot's of General's being changed in the Yokohama trailer. Along with BFG's, Goodyears, and others. Putting your name on the race and supporting the racers are two different things. Just say'in.
