any answers to these rumors
i was looking on another offroad site and they had a rumor section posted underneath were the following and i was wondering if anyone new that these were just a load of bull or if they actually had some truth behind them:
Rumor has it that Alan Pflueger is unsatisfied with his Porter-built chassis Trophy Truck and has hired "Trevor" to build a new truck.. However, no one is giving up who "Trevor" really is...
Rumor has it that the high-end Robby Gordon Off-Road shop located in Anaheim, California is closing its doors after the Laughlin race...We balked at this one, well come on it's the bad-boy of NASCAR and one of the best racers in the desert, who would ever think after that huge grand opening and all they wouldn't make it one year...however, word has it that it's costing Robby 40K a month to keep it open...Our bet is Roger Willis pulls it out and kicks [I have been warned] to keep it open throughout 2004 and they rock in 2005!
Rumor has it that over 40 trophy trucks will enter the 2004 Baja 1000...and even when you thought you knew every single trophy truck involved in desert racing, another one rolls off the showroom floor.

Re: any answers to these rumors
Robbys shop is not going anywhere. Robby talked about moving the fab shop to NC to be closer to him during the year but the off-road (lift kit) shop isnt going anywhere from what I hear.

Re: any answers to these rumors
Even assuming that there are 40 TT's, how do you suppose that someone in January can predict with any authority, how many of them will enter the Baja 1000 in November.
Perhaps this guy has a crystal ball???
