where do you get nitrogen?
it turns out the shop that i had switch my coils for me, drained all my nitrogen and didnt fill it back up.
where do you get nitrogen cheap? welding shop? should i go to a local shop? how much should it cost to fill up four shocks and four by-passes?
i dont want to take it back to the shop i had work on my car, they are too far, and they have been nothing but head-aches for me. but i will if this is going to cost me too much money.

Start calling around because the price varries. Not sure if KarTek offers the service. Your cheapest method will be to find a local race team, and bring them beer on their weekly prep night, and have them fill the shocks.
Emulsion shocks are like cooking steak in the microwave.

Re: where do you get nitrogen?
Any fire extinguisher shop has Nitrogen for doing recharges on fire extinguishers. We can dial the pressure in to anything you want from 1 lb to 1500 lbs. with out a problem. You can also try a few tire shops. I know in Michigan, several tire dealers have been promoting filling regular tires like the do on NASCAR to keep the pressure consistent. Unlike air, Nitrogen pressure does not fluctuate with temperature. As far as cost I personally would charge $5.00 or a few beers.
Good luck

If you want to come all the way to Michigan I'll do it for free.... Or just take your truck back to that shop and give them an ear full. Good Luck

Great to hear about the fire extinguisher shops. I hadnt thought about what they used. Regarding tire shops they do not have high enough PSI for shocks.
