Ranger steering box?
I am bolting up my beams and steering is almost ready to get bolted up. What kind of steering box would be best for my set up? I have equal length boxed beams with crossover steering in a 97 ranger 1450 truck. And where is the best place to buy the steering box?

Re: Ranger steering box?
I have heard different suggestions on this hopefully someone will tell you what you need, but what I have heard is that you can use a chevy sagina box and you don't have to upgrade them at all? Someone chime in and give him/us your suggestions.

Re: Ranger steering box?
The stock one is great. I’ve only been thru 2 boxes in 12 years. 1 I hit a big rut in Baja and twisted the sector shaft and the 2nd one I blow the bottom seal out after going true the nasty U-turns in the pine forest, pushing the steering lock to lock for 2 hours straight.
My pump and lines are also the stock parts from 1991, yes that old people! Sure it’s not “the best” but it’s been holding up great on my race truck and I have been taking it out 2-3 times a month for 7 years straight.
