Need help with cage design
I have a shop rebuilding my cab cage score spec? I know it is going to be 2 inch .120 main tubes but what about the design? I would like to know what is the "best/strongest" design that will still pass tech at all the different racing organizations... The reason I am asking is I am helping the shop build it and they are not familier with the truck rules..... Interior or exterior C pilerjust some of the basic rules to follow? thanks

A SCORE rule book will give you the basics, and the details for compliance. Best of all, Mr. Bill won't be able to complain.

i would be concerned about having a shop build a cage for racing, that wasn't familiar with the rules or willing to learn them themselves. just my 2 cents.

def agree. you don't want to have to correct later, it is way more hassle and $$.
