You can use mine anytime you want ; ) But if you insist on buying one the JD2 bender is probably the best for the money, and the dies are inexpensive as well.

You shouldn't need hyrdo with 1 1/2. 2" is the tough stuff

Be careful with the 1 1/2". Not legal for much. Unless its a fun project.

Re: Recommendations for tube bender.
The JD2 is a great bender for the money. I used one that my buddy has. He had the air over hydro and it bent 1.75 4130 effortlesly. I actually use a Ercolina bender, but thay are about $15,000.00, hehe

Re: Recommendations for tube bender.
Our JMR Manual Tube bender is on sale. You can find pics of the bender here:
http://www.jmrmfg.com/featured-tools...0-tube-bender/
JMR is the ONLY manufacturer offering a Lifetime Warranty on bender dies. Sure they cost a little more but they are heat treated tool steel. The JMR Manual Bender uses the same bender parts at the elec/hyd bender. The benefit to this is in the future when you decide to upgrade all you have to do is call and order the parts you need.
If you want to buy the bender with dies let me know. I will put together a package deal for you.
Dies can be found here:
