    Ranger springs

Opinions on ranger springs? I have a 2000 ranger and would like to firm up the front. its a 4 banger so Im woundering if a 4liter or extra cab would have a firmer rate? Im not a fan of some of the current kits because the springs are so long there is zero down travel. I was plaining on running a good shock and spindles. Thanks
