I noticed TONS of the same lights i have on my truck, those big old school CIBIE lights.... looks like they are new! Anyone know where to get new parts or covers for them?

Awesome pics!!! Is Walkers Ramcharger racing as well or is it just a chase vehicle? Is Walker driving his 8 truck? And whos number 77 that Scott has on his prerunner? Share more pics if you have them! I just spent 20 minutes looking at these.

That black Chevy (number 44) was my first class 8 truck, and I built it in 1979. Where's the time gone ?

To bad they messed up the Bell ray Bullet, it always had a stock width vw link pin beam with short towers on front with cooling fins. The one that trully looks period is the Saab, with Cibie super oscars. The Jack Warye special looks like it did except for the lights, it had Cibies in its day as well as the Edsel. Cool pictures of some of the early cars like the Garner cars, but new suposable old period cars should have stayed home. Cool seeing the true 60s-70s cars. Hope everybody has a safe trip

man what a day. just got home at 11pm. left Indio at noon to drive down and see the ol racers. missed alot of them in the morning so keep posting picks. i felt like a kid again seeing all them cars and trucks. i was telling my 12 year old, i had a story for most every car. wish i was still there racing it.
