One of the nicest guys you would have ever met. A great Racer, Chaser, and Husband. Larry worked for several teams from the Boyers to Riviera. An all around great human being who would drive to La Paz in a heartbeat if you asked him to. Larry always was the red headed step child we would send to the Pacific side, none of our crew ever wanted to do that section. Im glad Larry finally got to marry his sweetheart, for she sure is a great gal. I'm really gonna miss Larry as he was always down in Mexico for every race. I've been asked by the Boyers to send their condolences also. -God Speed Larry! You will be missed.

WOW! Really shocked and saddened to hear of Larry's passing!
Larry and I have been buddies since we worked together on Jimmy Smith's Ultra Wheels TT team in '95.
Larry was always a gentle soul! Super easy-going, sincere and always interested in helping you with anything possible. Never saw him uptight or upset in all of the years I've known him. He always had a calm, relaxed, "good 'ole boy" way about him. Regardless of what teams we were working with, he'd always make the effort to find me at a race or contingency and we'd visit and catch up with each other. Many times, our teams would be pitted at the same areas, so we'd get to hang out and visit during the race. We chewed alot of the same dirt together and been covered by alot of the same dust in the past 15 years.
This is one of the instances, had it not been for desert racing, I would've never had the opportunity to meet this man I'm proud to have called a friend. Really going to miss visiting with Larry at the races and seeing his huge smile and enjoying some laughs together!
Prayers and best wishes to his family and friends!
Godspeed to one of God's peaceful souls, Mr. Larry Bowman.
Attached is a pic from the '95 SCORE San Felipe 250. Outside of Las Missiones Hotel. Crazy huge "Dino" float cracked us up! Larry is at far right. Also pictured: Jason "Big Stick" (L) and EJ Veenstra.
