Any thoughts or interest this year or future?

I dont see class rules on BITD site but they might adopt our rules and form a class if we had racers. Perhaps combo it up with the 5-1600 to produce entires. We can hang with 5-1600's in a race.

Would running the longest point to point race in the USA be a fun experience and produce a competitive class?

yes yes yes did a terribles 250 in my nine car 2 years ago casey gave me a special entry fee and a class was talking about v2r with my dad last night

I have never raced Vegas to Reno so my opinion may be botched, I know at a rough course we can hang and beat some of the 5/1600s but in what I have heard from others is that Vegas to Reno has alot of fast sections and bad silt in some areas. I feel it would be hard to run a 5/1600 pace and keep your car together during that kind of event.

I'm slow to comment on this because we only made the BAP in 9 and we're not going to the 500, but you wouldn't want to change the plan for the DRIVE race right?

V2R might be do-able for 2011 if teams have proper planning. I can only imagine it would be expensive.

No changes to the Pro Nine races this year.... MORE this weekend and DRIVE for the final race.......Vegas to Reno just talking about it to see if there is interest..this year and/or next year.

I raced v2r last year in an all wheel drive jeep and we almost got stuck a few times. There are fast sections and lots of deep silt. I'm always up for a challenge tho.
