Re: Crumco build
I like the idea also, standing by wating for ideas... ;-) New build for me will have lower lights as per DOT regs but more on top for the rest of us normal people.

Re: Crumco build
Well back at it, home from 2 week deer hunt and great country but no buck big enough to chamber a round. I'm cleaning up some wiring and chasing down a ecotec LE5 for the other car. Now paper templated for aluminum panels at cockpit and rear radiator air flow and engine panels.

Sorry to here about the 2 weeks of pure hell and not getting a deer. Bet it was nice just to get away from it all. ;-)

Re: Crumco build
I've been doing the EBAY thing for about $750, 6k-20k miles on a LE5 and wiring and computer for $1k. The problem is the junkyard guys strip off altenator, ps pump and don't even try to ship a complete engine ????

Re: Crumco build
Thank you racer56. That is great price on a Turnkey, but we are building on a tight budget and looking for used stuff.
burninfuel, we are in the same boat with ebay. If we find a place to get a more "complete" wrecking yard motor, I will let you know.
Thanks Alan
