Try these http://www.delcity.net/store/Loom-Cl...teel/p_287.a_1 they are alot heavier duty. I use them on my diesel engines and they work great.
How do you mount them do you weld some studs on? tap them?

We welded button head allens on our truck, that way we could use lock nuts.

Have you seen / tried bending a washer into a "U" shape? If you do it right the hard lind fits in the "u" perfecet and you can zip tie it in.
i use allen head nuts. there hard to find. i am sure mcmaster has them. i get mine from mcfadden hardware
