BAJA!!! THe 500 has always been my favorite. From racing bikes... I was a long day but you could finish before dark. Love this race.

Just long enough to make you work for it.... I got a great story... Hmmm I think I heard that in a movie somewhere...

We had very close racing with a local team back in the day. Every race was back and forth with the other team winning by seconds if not minutes. The bike comes in for the last leg to finish the 500 and my co rider says "...they are right behind us. dont look at the rear tire. just ride your ass of and GET TO THE FINISH!!!..." When I got to the finsh the rear tire was down the cords. I thought is was a bit slick coming into the finish, but I just kept pushing. I cant believe the Dunlop did not flat, but it held and we won. One tire for the whoel race. 1st open Am and 1 Am overall.....

Yes sir...Will do. I agree with Baja Joe. The 500 is one of my favorites. Always has been.
