One of the bigger rallies after the Dakar...1100 miles with 4 days in Portugal and 4 days in North Africa...some of the bigger "factory" teams are there--BMW, whats left of Mitsu, etc. while I believe the VWs are down in Brazil...Race began today...

Hi to all.

Finally, now that the rally crossed to Morocco , i had some time to rest after 4 long and very nice days. So here is the link for the race pictures, close to 1000 at this moment.
I call your particular atention to the Protruck Chevrolet from Eric Vigouroux. The guy made one amazing job. The Portuguese roads aren't proper for this car , but even so he managed to do a good work avoiding the trees and ravines and making some decent runs.
Apart this, the lead was private property of Filipe Campos, and no one was allowed there, so he won the 3 days here. Now in the other side things will be diferent, and my bet is that Vigouroux or Novitskiy will now reclame what is from them.

Here are almost every car on race, inlcuding the Protruck in the midle of the trees. Short after he was out of camera recording field, he went straight ahead and losted some time to get out of there. But it was not he only, the car behind him made the same error and several others also.

The event is now over...BMW X3s performed very well, 3 in the top 4...Nissans dissapoint as usual and Eric Vigoroux has another solid effort (third overall)
