    Vegas to Reno Info...

    For those of you that have raced it many times, can you give us 1st timers a heads up on what to expect?
    Fast, slow, I know bad silt, but what else.?

    Rocks silt dust silt & silt did i mention silt.. Hahaoh and really long drive home.

    It's a haul, but worth it.. Just trying to get an idea of a pace to set from the get go.. Going to be a lot like a Baja race where making it to the end is tough.

    I'm glad this thread was started, I was kinda wondering the same thing. We are getting our class 7 ready for this race and we will be racing in 7200. I have never raced BITD....logistically how is V2R, easy to chase? Pit access? We have raced several Baja races, Im assuming it will be close to the same.

    Fast and more fast with some silt. If you are used to chasing in Baja VTR will be a cake walk. Two chase trucks can make all but a couple of pits.

    Andybody give say a "run down" of the race.. like, first part is fast, then the mountains, the rockier than Sh$t, then fast, then.. You know..

    A game plan is all we are looking for.. we dont' get a lot of practice in the desert...
