While at this year's Baja 500 I met a local guy from Ensenada with a nice 78 Bronco with a TTB converted front end. Nice and simple and it gets the job done. When I get home I'll post some pics for ya, I'm at work right now.
Check out threads in the shop forums.
I used to be an alienated youth, then I became a disgruntled malcontent, next a crackpot, but now I hope to be a curmudgeon.
Bought this back in '05 and drove it strait to the Dust to Glory premiere.
It’s a 1967 Ford F-100 Ranger standard cab short bed. It’s got a built 460cid big block with intake, carb, pistons, MSD, cam, and more, with HP @ the flywheel estimated about 400. It also has a C-6, and a 9” (van), with 31 spline axles. Front suspension consists of equal length rear steer beams, bent for camber and caster, custom, but ugly, radius arms, adjustable coil bucket. It has a 4 point 1¾” cage in the cab, nice shock hoops up front and tubular rear bumper with 38 gallon fuel cell. The rear suspension is basically stock with blocks. The body is descent for a 67, and is an orange red color, with autofab hood and front fenders. The truck has about 8000 miles on it since the build up (motor trans rear end and fab).
When I bought it.
Here it is as it sits now.
Working on paint ideas.

Sorry tim_krueger, I can't see two of your pics you posted. Nice truck BTW!
Oh snap!! Sorry I spaced out last night. I WILL do it tonight. I think I met you as you were driving into Tijuana for the 500 on Thursday afternoon. I was in a Black F150 and commented on how clean your Bronco was. You told me you were going to Erendira and I was going to Ojos/Borrego. I'll post them TONITE!! He used to work for Wide Open and some shop in Corona I think made his front end. It has a simple cage with buckets up front a bench in the rear with a fuel cell behind the bench. Up front coil bucket with two 2.5" Smooth Body Kings and the rear had single 2.5" Smooth Body Kings.
I remembered today!! As I has mentioned its a 78 Bronco with a TTB front end. I only got three shots but the guy is local (Ensenada) and I got his contact info. Enjoy:
