I abide to most of those rules already..
but yano I hear the statement "Well it aint like back in our day when we could do whatever" At what point can we start to question the use of the terms "Public land" and "Public Servants"

No more four seater UTV's, no more passengers on quads.

They can also use these rules to pull an event's Special Recreation Permit.

So does this mean a UTV with a bench in the back is now prohibited?
I called the BLM and as long as there is a seat with seat belts, this is allowed. You can't just sit in the "cargo" area behind the front seats. And there has been no double riding on quads or bikes for over 20 years.

This really isn't anything new. All of the above rules (except #6) have been in force in Glamis for many years. I have watched the BLM go camp to camp on Cement Flats/Gecko checking for glass containers and confiscating all when found, and of course issuing a citation. Just put beverages that come in glass in plastic bottles and there will be no problems. By cans or beer that comes in those non-breakable bottles.

Not the way I am reading it. In theory, a seat is a seat so... Not that I dont think some over enthusiastic BLM agent may wanna argue this but they way that is worded, it is a seat, you should be able to use it as one. Perhaps this is one of those things where there is a big differences in being cited for something rather than being found guilty of it i court.

I see this as them wanting to stop trucks/bikes/utv's overloaded with drunk passengers from being allowed.

The glass stuff with respect to bottles is fine with me. Cans are easier to deal with and you can dump your crown royal in an empty two liter and throw it in yer cooler or whatever. Please label any water bottles that have be emptied and refilled with vodka though. Anyone ever woken up camping with a bad case of dehydration likely from over doin it the previous evening and accidentally taken a big swig of what they thought was water only to find out it was a water bottle filled with grey goose?

For the most part, the race organizers in Plaster City do a good job at removing any setup from a race and returning the area to its previous state.
