Hello, my name is Kyle
I've been a lurker for a while. I've been into desert racing since about 20 years ago when my uncle took me to my first Mickey Thompson series at the Astrodome. Recently, I've gotten more into the whole scene by buying a dirt bike, building a Baja Bug and attending some B.O.R. races.
I have an '82 Honda XL250R, which is a great bike for the single track and mountain trails I usually ride. I also have a pretty stock '75 Baja Bug I built, and another '70 that I'm currently building. It'll be a more serious car.
I'm contemplating racing at some point; I definitely plan to cage the '70 and do everything else to make it B.O.R. legal so I can race someday if I want to. For now, I'm a happy spectator and have offered to help a couple teams pit, though they haven't really needed me. I just volunteered at LOORS, which was a blast!
I live and work in Park City, about an hour from the high desert. I'm single with no kids and am head of Operations for the Water Department here.
I spend a lot of time on ShopTalkForums as I'm really into VW's, and borracing.org as they're local to me.
