    Bar spacers?

I just got some new renthal 7/8'' bars for my WR400 and they are too low, I cant comfortably stand while riding. Anyone know what the best way is to fix this? A spacer?

    Re: Bar spacers?

I searched for the risers on the web and only found them for street bikes. Does anyone know where to get them for offroad?

    Thanks!

    Re: Bar spacers?

these ones are not that much of a rise but better then nothign and they support and are at every D37 race.

I was also told that Thumper Racing carries a much bigger riser. Personally I would go with taller bars before I went with a bar riser so that there was less chance of breaking something...that extra height puts more torque on the triple clamp, etc...

Also remeber that with the riser, your throttle cable may not be long enough and you better be sure it is long enough before you go right and make a turn and the bike revs on ya!

    Re: Bar spacers?

Im 6'2 and i use jimmy button bend bars all the others seem to be really low and like said its uncomfrotable when standing and riding. kinda feels like your riding with your hands on your knees. the button bend bars are more i believe cause the are a rider bend but from what i have read and seen they are one of the highest bend handle bars.

    Re: Bar spacers?

Thanks for the help, I think I will just go with a different bend, I dont want to replace the tripple clamp $$. Or put additional stress on the stock one.

I bought the FMF BFB bars and the adaptor. They come in different bends and the adaptor bolts on top of your existing mounts making it a little taller. It feels real nice.
