Hopefully in one piece,So how do you think we are going to get to LA PAZ ?
Let's see...Ensenada to ojos to the summit, down to coabuzo, saldana, borrego, puertecitos via San Flippy, Gonzaga, pass thru coco's....
"Quants som, on estem i cap a on ens dirigim?"
i am hoping not san felipe way. cuts off the chase truck from race. but i do love san felipe
Felipe yes
Summit no
2006 or close I guess
many question in the Loreto north area due to construction and storm damage
See you guys in La Paz then I am off to San Jose for decompression with some friends.
it would be good to start a race that didn't have the summit for a change. i'm tired of that place. you can learn to dislike a place after waiting around for two hours in a cluster**** in the heat. time to try another way this time[to wait in a cluster**** somewhere else in all likelyhood]. whatever it is, is good with us though. i can't wait for november. we've been thinking about this race for a long time. a race south to the other end. the way it's supposed to be.
2009 and 2011 tecate score baja 500 sportsman truck class champions...2011 tecate score baja 1000 sportsman truck class champions..2011 tecate score sportsman truck class champions
Mr. Fish mentioned (at SF 250 I think) that they were working on cutting a new off road course between Old Puertecitos Road to Gonzaga Bay (or something like that) due to the fully paved state highway that is being constructed as we speak. If that's the case, chase crews would be able to use the new highway to chase further down that part of the course, if not all the way through. It will be very interesting to see this unfold.
How about 2007 from Ensenada to LA Bay, 2004 LA Bay to La Paz?? keeps all chase going down 1 and skirts Loreto. Maybe Catavina to Gonzaga or one of the coast lines i dont know that area very well but PAB is the man that just did a little RIP2TIP ride might know something cool to stay for the HWY
I just did that section and from Puertecitos to the end of the NEW paved highway / road is ONLY 16 minutes of Highway Travel time at 65 mph and then its the same old gnarly rock infested washboard all the way to Coco's...
then bang a left into Calamajue Wash out to El Cucero and points south towards PAB-a-Licious-land.
