Just spoke to Bob Beyer, so far so good for Saturday practice. (If all go's wellThey should be sending info out tomarrow)

Please note that we will be holding an open practice at the Glen Helen Raceway on Saturday, July 24th from 9:00m - 5:00pm. All Drivers must have a spotter with a working listen only radio, spotter must be in spotter area any time your vehicle is on the track. .

Courtesy tech inspections will be conducted for your reference. No scales will be set up, no timing loop will be installed. All safety gear must be worn while on the race track.

Please see below for details regarding pricing for your class (this is a per driver price):

Pro 2 & Pro 4 - $700

Pro Lite - $500

Super Lite & Pro Buggy - $400

Limited Buggy - $300

UTV and Kart - $150

The Glen Helen short course race 2 weekends ago was on the old track.

Yep - it was on the old shortcourse track.....so...just wondering if the new track is being built right now. Haven't heard diddly about it.....usually there are spy pics and all kinds of stuff out by now!

I did see a big loop with 3 or so big table tops south of the current short course track pits... I didn't think to take pictures.

I asked Crystal, and she said we WILL be practicing on the new track this weekend - woot!

Stopped by the track today looks like they still have quite a bit of work but don't see why they can't have it ready for this Saturday.

Ouch! That's a little pricey for the buggies to practice, Definitely not the Regional series. Just Saying.
