Water heats up and cools quicker, coolant heats up slower, yet cools slower also.
If you think can or can't,your right!!!!
I like about 10% coolant in with WW and Distilled water.

From what I understand, it is kind of a trade off. Water absosbs and dissipates heat faster but has a much lower boiling point. Ethelene glycol (aka coolant) also has anti corrosion properties. I only feel comfortable with some percentage of coolant in the system...like 40%, for the reasons above.

Man, whatever you do... DO NOT mix Dexcool (reddish orange) with Ethylene Glycol (typical green antifreeze/coolant). You will be less than thrilled with the results.
It turns to Death Foam and will kill your cooling system.
