***Texas EDR Inaugural Night 180 Presented by Rock and Roll Offroad***

The Texas EDR Series presented by Rock and Roll Offroad is proud to announce the FIRST ever 180 mile desert Night race at Texana Ranch, in Blackwell Texas.

Race weekend kick's off on September 3rd with tech/cont at the course and pre-run until 10 PM. Saturday morning starts out with the Sportsman's Race from 8AM-11AM followed by pre-running until 5PM. The green flag drops at 7PM with a 2AM finish deadline. The race course will be open again on Sunday for MX, ATV, and UTV after the awards ceremony around 11AM. We are all excited for the first Texana Night Race and with the new sections added it will be a challenging set up even for the racers who have spent time on the course. There are very nice roads into the camp and plenty of area for camping. We are looking forward to a great event, see you at the race.

This is one of the most challenging race courses we have ever run. If your in New Mexico, Arizona or Colorado and dont show up to race this your making a HUGE mistake! Grab your flatbed trailer and hit the road. If you want family friendly racing with a great group of people this is the place to be.

We love the challenge that is Texana. What a privilege to race out there. It's going to be a real slug fest in the dark.

This course is a great course for all classes. You have to be a good driver to get around it fast so HP is less of an advantage. I bet even a car setup for shortcourse racing would do well out here, you might have to fill up every lap but you will be fast. Anyway I agree with steveOwe, if you don't come out to this race and you live anywhere near Texas, you are making a mistake. Come on down and you will have a blast.

I almost have my car ready for the dark. Will post pictures once I get the new Vision X's on it.

MX,ATV,UTV will have the Hooter's funrun on August 20th, and the entire course is open for MX,ATV,UTV on Sunday after the awards ceremony. It is for fun at this time, but I know the EDR is working hard to make a place for everyone. We hope to see a good turnout from you guys.

remember we have to events coming up, please read the flyer schedule for both Events carefully, we do not do bike races, it is strictly for fun or pre running on Friday.
We do have UTVs in the works for possible racing time slot,
Friday Fun run is open to enjoy the track on bikes, you must register when you arrive if you plan to ride
no bikes or UTVs after 6pm, this will open for full size vehicles
