He didn't call it off because it's to risky, he called it off because he can't pull it off cleanly. This is the exact same trick he tried at last years X-Games Best Trick, which he alllllllmost pulled, but still didn't make it. And he's doing it on a 125 too.
The media just says it's to "risky" to hype it up.
