"TAKE BACK UTAH" Parade and Rally

    Saturday August 28th - http://www.fox13now.com/videobeta/c4...-State-Capitol

Bonniville Off Road (BORracing.org) the local desert racing group was represented well. A large showing of our racecars and teams merged with others to defend our public land rights. Team Xterra Racing was there and I happen to be one of the persons interviewed by FOX 13 News. For more info on this "TAKE BACK UTAH" see thier site http://www.takebackutah.org/

It is very clear that with the latest media over the accident in So. California we as racers are going to step up and be more active in these issues. It is not going to be only local California and Neveda changes to follow. It has already been stated by our Utah BLM manager "Get ready for extreme changes in safety regulations for all future events". Even here in Utah some 700 miles away, it was like giving the enviro-activist gasoline in 5 gallon buckets to throw on their fire!

Glad you were there to represent. For some reason, I thought the rally was next weekend, I'm an idiot. Saw some media coverage and it seemed positive, except for the email comments by the enviro whako's that wished harm on all offroaders because we were 'land rapers". Funney how these so called caring activist would rather see a human being injured over dis-placing a turtle or disturbing a rock or some dirt.
Keep up the good fight, I will be doing my part by roosting at 5 mile pass today!

Kind of ironic that while the rally was going on, I was at the the FOX13 weathermans house teaching his 6 year old how to ride his new PW50.

FOX13 is the local FOX affiliate and they coverd the rally. He does special assignments besides the weather.
    Maybe there isn't any irony.
