    Pit Jack

What do you guys recommend to use for a pit jack and also for a jack to store in the car. I want something reliable and that works quickly and easily.

Craftsman 2 1/2 ton aluminum jack with a Kreger big wheel kit and a Kartek 5 1/2 jack extension. We have two and they are used all the time, never an issue.

We use two 3,000 lb. capacity Harbor Frieght aluminum jacks, one for the pit and one on the truck. When I first got them, I checked to make sure the oil was topped off. (both were a little low) We have had them for four years without a problem. These jacks are regularly advertised for $59.99 so they won't break the bank either.

i use the harbor freight 2 ton jack, little beefier than the 3000# jack, and also has a higher lift, which i needed for my truck.
