    Looks like a fun build.

Make sure you plate in those beams good, I’ve worked with them before and there not that strong.

The rear springs are the Toyota 62” parts and watch out from a lot of driveline plunge with them.

    Good job, man.

Those springs have less arc and you would have got 23” of travel with the frame notched, plus front eye on those springs wraps from the top were the 64” wraps from the bottom.

oh okay.. well i was fooled oh well with the travel i have should b enough with some good valving on the shocks it should work well. another question what valving do most people run when they go with a smoothbody shock i was planning on going with 20 stack comp. and 16 or less on rebound?? what do you think. i will have the tank in the rear, a one spare a jack and a storage box with just hand tools. do you think that will do? or is it to much valving on the compresion?

    Re: 1990 ford ranger

id start with .015" for comp and .010" for rebound if your not using hyd bumps .
on my spring under yota im running a 2.5 smoothbody with hyd bumps and im using .012" compression and .008" rebound. it works great so far but i havent had any time to fine tune the valving yet . think it needs either stiffer rebound or a tad less compression
