Baja 1000 pre run VIDEO - Part 1 Deviate Films/Monster Energy/Yokohama Tire/DA
Hola fellow Baja racers and enthusiasts!
Brian from Deviate Films joined the Desert Assassins on our first Baja trip for the 2010 Baja 1000 and has finished segment 1 of a 3 part Baja pre-run trilogy brought to you by Monster Energy Drink and Yokohama Tires.
We spent 6 days on the peninsula and with the amazing hard work of Deviate Brian we are able to deliver a taste of what the Baja is all about. This segment covers through El Crucero and gives a look at some sections and gives a great look at what Baja is to us. Segment 2 will cover the middle and segment 3 will take us into La Paz.
Heidi and I along with a large part of our crew took 4 buggies, 4 chase vehicles, a 40-foot trailer and 11 bikes to La Paz the fun way! Well most of the trailers stayed on the pavement!
Thanks to all of our supporters for making the dream come to life! We hope you enjoy it. Ask anything you like and we will try and answer but don't be surprised if we hold a little bit of the key logistics back!
Many thanks to the crew.... I must say that getting to spend 14 hours a day with the DA in the middle of the Mexico desert was truely an experience I would say everyone needs to expereince. but since that may not be possible for all, I am happy to throw together these videos to show the beauty of Mexico, it's people, culture and the DA's quest for the top spot at this years SCORE Baja1000. Thanks to the DA for an unforgetable experience..I look forward to following Cameron and Heidi on there quest to reach that #1 spot...This is Cameron and Heidi's year and "I" will be there to witness this amazing couples back to back victory!!! Viva Baja!!!
