Re: Centre Driven Pro 2
I believe that same truck is still for sale by the "wide open" gang. Its also the same truck that Jerry Welchel won the Pro-2 championship in a few years ago. During the Marty Reid era, it was deemed to have too much of an advantage and tech officials forced Scott to move the seat and he proved he was still able to win in it. Later on, Scott sold it and it was then that Welchel won in it also.

That is the pro2 that wide open had or has. It was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy safer that way and you were in the center of mass right there, he loved it but it didn't "look" like a production truck seated in the middle soooooo.

Re: Centre Driven Pro 2
at the time CORR told Scott that people wanted to get into P2 but were staying out because they didn't think they had a chance against him/his truck.
the rules are extremely vague on this point though

The TORC rules are very clear:
"All trucks must be left side steer only. Steering wheel, seat and pedals must be in approximate stock
location."

If Ford/Chevy/Dodge/Toyota or others made a "almost" center steer truck from the factory. Taylor's truck was very cool when he was able to use it. It is a shame when rules are made against inovation.

Why didn't all the other guys just move their seats to the center? That's what I would have done
