Alright, this isn't anywhere on par with what woundedyak was showing, which I'd love to actually see in person. But, my bro-in-law lives out in the "holler" in TN and his buddy is a 4th generation hog farmer. Every year when the weather is just right, they butcher in the morning, grind and season in the afternoon, then put the "socks" in the smoke shed for 7 - 10 days that evening. My bro-in-law then 2 days ships it to me



Then cook it up, add some pork chorizo and some CostCo bacon bits, cover with the Mexican cheese mix and you're good to go

I am SO surprised that it took this long for this thread to be created... But VERY fitting that it was started by Dan LOL

My contribution: bacon wrapped green beans! YUM!! Take canned or fresh green beans and dump about a cup of brown sugar on top of two cans of green beans and let it melt, a couple seconds in the microwave will speed the processs. Take raw bacon and roll up about 5-6 beans in each piece of bacon. Bake in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes or on the grill! Serve and enjoy sweet bacon wrapped deliciousness!!
