Who's in for "Mini Stock" racing in 2011?

So who's building a Mini Stock truck for 2011? ASCC or Glen Helen? Brand? 4 or 6 cylinder? Inquiring minds want to know!

Like I posted in the other thread, I'll build one to run at Glen Helen (and a couple ASCC) events... Just want someone else to step up to the plate so we can run door to door with another truck.

My truck will be:

Toyota standard cab short bed
4 cylinder
manual trans

I'm going to start looking for a truck to build once I get back from Baja and wrap up truck prep for Laughlin.

Got a 95 Ranger.....2.3, manuel trans. Building for myself,son and friends to have good time. He and I have been busy gettin this thing ready for 11. Also may have 97 s-10 in the works as well.This class should make for alot of fun!

I'm sure Bob will run this class if trucks show up! Untill there are 8 or 10 trucks, we'll probably have to run at the same time as all the other trucks and desert vehicles. More than likely, he'll just start us as a group...

I will build one as soon as I can get my F-150 sold. In this economy it will not be easy to sell. Everyone just wants to trade. If I can get that sold I will build one with a second for my son that will soon follow.

Their will be another truck being built out of the Indio Dune Buggy shop after the 1000. ASCC has a good deal going on here.....They are pushing this class.

We are going with the 4-cylinder.....Truck has been gutted, fenders cut and ready for the cage to go in it! Motor and trans will go back in tomorrow? This is a great way for my son to get to know about tools and how things work with vehicles.....He is pretty into it at this point!
