DRIVE Volunteer Team: Dec 4th Stand Down...
I just wanted to thank each of you guys/gals for getting on board with the
Dec 4th race. Unfortunately, there are just not enough racers planning on
coming out to enjoy the desert with us, so the ORW Grand Prix had to be
canceled. I feel horrible saying this and I hope that committing to this
race did not effect any alternate plans that anyone of the Volunteer Team
might have had. If that is the case, I am truly sorry...
The future of off road racing in Plaster City will ultimately rest on the
dedication of Volunteers as well as racers. I know by speaking with all
of you through Email and phone that the DRIVE Volunteer Team has what it
takes (and more!!!) to make it happen out in Plaster City. The question
that has yet to be answered is do racers really want to make the same type
of commitment that each of you have made toward the sport that we love?
Until that question is answered let's just keep our heads up and feet
moving!!!
The DRIVE Volunteer Team is AWESOME!
Thank you guys,
-Brian & Amy

It's heartbreaking for everyone that puts the time, money, and energy into making each DRIVE race an awesome experience, Racers and Volunteers alike.
Until more cars & trucks make the decision to commit to the DRIVE race schedule and actually register to race it's tough to justify going through with it all. DRIVE has almost everything it takes for a great off road race. Great people, great atmosphere, great organization, great courses... The only thing that's missing from the equation is the racer turn out. Maybe it's just a matter of getting the word out more effectively.

DRIVE Volunteer Team: Dec 4th Stand Down...
Hey Brian
We will be there to help in the new year.
We just got back from the Baja 1000 pitting for Honda, great time long week. We were south of Bahia de Los Angeles pitting 1X and 30 or so other hondas and a awsome female rider who had a clutch cover we sealed up with RTV. The only bad thing about the female rider was the KTM she was riding. Haha
Hope you are doing well and Happy Thanks Giving.

Thanks Dave! Sounds like you guys had a great time. That whole area around BoLA is really beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you guys out in Plaster City and hearing your stories from the 1K
