Congrats to the Hall family, it looks like you accomplished exactly what you set out to do in the maiden race.

We tracked the 61 all the way through the whole race. It is very impressive that a new design did so well right out of the box.

Sounds like the Master-Pull Super Yanker earned its keep in that silt. . .

i was at the finish and congratulated samco on finishing the 1000 right out of the box. he was pretty stocked. thought to finish in 10 months. then he wanted to talk about vorra. sorry i didn't have a beer for your. good job to the halls and samco on the finish.

I watched the 61 and the 861 through the whole race, you can see what we saw here:

I always think it is fun to "relive" the race without going through 100+ pages of stuff.

I love they are thinking outside the box but I had to chuckle when he said he got stuck in a silt bed.
I remember thinking before the race what fun they'd have passing the other TTs in the silt beds.

I thought the same thing. I'd love to know how the 4 wheel drive is implemented on this truck. Chad did say they had troubles off and on during the race getting the 4x4 to work properly....maybe they had 2 wheel drive only in that silt bed.
