Kent and crew, thanks for stepping up and showing how humans are supposed to treat each other.

Tough to find. The true EMT Tech training is very hard to find. Most classes you can go to stop at First aid and CPR.
There has to be someone in the OFFROAD family that deals with true first responder trauma care. Maybe a super blow special out one day class in So Cal. All the real Trauma items addressed???

I've got a guy who can help with this. I'll get some details and arrange it. So Cal - one day, full trauma.

Well done Marines!!
Sounds like M.O.R.E's 35MPH prerun rules have merit in Baja too.

Again, I find myself saying thank you Kent. I know there are quite a few members of the pit crew I work with will be interested in going. Please keep us posted.

That would be nice and I would work to get my team there as this is something we have not taken care of. Even if the training did not include certifications of any sort, SOMETHING in field trauma care would still be a very good thing.

Is this missionary eligible for any financial help from Fast-Aid? I see a donation button on his site (see link in earlier post) but it looks like it's a donation to the web host itself to help keep the web service going. Not sure if any donations through there go directly to his family. Anyway, he was down there helping others and maybe the off-road community could rally behind this guy and his family and help him?? If so let me know, otherwise I will contact the family to see where to donate.
Side Bar:
Does anyone else see the miracle here?? Swink mentioned that it was his luckiest day and unluckiest day all in one. - I see a guy down in Mexico doing the Lord's work and by a miracle being saved by great people that were in the right place at exactly the right time....Everything was in place by chance?? The guy's last name is even Lamb, something Christ is compared to many times in the Bible. Think about this - What are the odds?

In my younger days I spent quite a bit of time mountaineering on big mountains all over the world. It's not unlike racing in the wilderness of baja, medically you are on your own. We made sure that all of the members of our expeditions were certified Wilderness First responders. The classes are very in depth and would have handle everything that happened in this accident. Class are available thru-out the U.S.A. and it might not be a bad idea for at least one member of the team to attend.

Reason: adding
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
